About the project: In honor of the role they play in serving and defending our great nation, in November of 2007, the Windy City Bags Company initiated Operation Piccolo, a gift program designed to provide recreational relief to our armed services personnel stationed in potentially hostile environments, outside of the United States. Since Thanksgiving 2007, Windy City Bags has shipped nearly 50 complete sets of premium bean bag toss game collapsible boxes and bags to US Military installations throughout the Middle East. To date, we have funded the entire operation internally. While we will continue to do so, we have recently been approached by a number of our valued suppliers, customers and friends looking for an opportunity to participate as well.

Thank you so much for your interest in Operation Piccolo. Initiated in November 2007 by the Windy City Bag Company, Operation Piccolo is a recreational relief program started in honor of USAF, Lieutenant Colonel, Marc Piccolo to provide cornhole sets (a fun and competitive recreational bean toss game) to US troops stationed abroad.
In honor of a simple request made by Lt Col Piccolo, Windy City Bags has committed to identifying troops on military bases and outlying installations throughout the Middle East and elsewhere and presenting them with a Windy City Box and Bag Set for their recreational use and pleasure.
We can not over emphasize how much we and our fellow Americans recognize and appreciate the job that you do on behalf of our country and the world. And, while we realize our gift pales in comparison to the gift of freedom that you help provide for us, we certainly hope that our game at least provides you with a well deserved break from the toll of your everyday work efforts.
Again, thank you Marc Piccolo for identifying an opportunity for us to serve the men and women of the United States Military. And Tom, thank you for the service you provide to us as American citizens.

How hot is it in Iraq?
So Hot that if you leave your Bags out full of corn they will pop. We are so grateful to you guys for having sent us a set of your boards. We have been playing with them everyday sometimes having up to two to three pairs waiting to play next. Many people have just recently been introduced to the game and have purchased a set for themselves from your site for back home. Thank you from all the International Police Advisors in Iraq.
P.S. on day when it got to 120 degrees we left the bags out and the cornels poped, but the bags still work great.
